Kim, My Jeep is ok. I wouldn't abandon pieces of it on the beach like that.
That remnant I observed on Sunday very close to the boundary of the National Wildlife Refuge. Perhaps too close, though I've never heard of wildlife using mortars or rockets against interlopers.
